I truly enjoyed photographing this wonderful couple and I certainly can't wait to meet their little baby Justin!! :) Both originally from New Brunswick, they ended up meeting in Montreal...Talk about a coincidence!!

A few weeks ago, I was asked to take pictures of Viviane's newborn baby boy, in her house. It's not something I normally do, considering newborn sessions are usually done in studio for props, lighting and many more issues, but Viviane had promised me a house full of natural light, and that's exactly what I got.

Ethan, the 9 lbs baby boy, was such a breeze.

Oh and in case you didn't know, this year is the year of the rabbit and Ethan's super cute room had plenty.

It's been already a few months Kim promised to bring this little munchkin to the studio. Only 3 weeks, and mom and dad finally brought him in last week. Mom was not convinced he would sleep through the session and he did indeed prove us all wrong!!
Kim, you have been so patient, here is a little something in the meantime that your full session is ready :)

Remember the Montreal Dog Blog contest... Well Sira and her family won and I was super excited to meet them all for their studio session. There was Daddy, Ryu, their gorgeous little 8 month old boy and Bella the very well behaved Boston Terrier who still very much acts and looks like a puppy. Bella was super happy, especially when she would get treats to stay put for her portrait and Ryu was full of smiles. We even got to take the studio outside for a little bit since it was such a beautiful day.

I just love having Anne- Sophie at the studio!! And this time, I got to witness all the love she had for her new baby brother. He was such a sweet little boy. I was amazed at how he didn't make a sound during the entire session and fell asleep from beginning to end (or almost). :)

Oh, by the way, in case you can't remember Anne- Sophie and the family, here is a tiny little reminder; Beautiful Gift.

You must remember Theary and Peter, from Baby Boy on the Way!! After their maternity session and a few months of patience, I finally got to meet that little boy; Aeden. He must have been the baby with the most hair I have ever photographed. He had light brown streaks and moms beautiful dark hair. He was so calm throughout the photo session, waking up on occasion and peeking, making sure grandma (who came to help out), was still there by his side. What a sweet little boy!!

Wow, it's been a while since my last post...

Bonnie and her family won the FREE photo session contest with Cadeaux Kelly Green a little while back. Since it's been really crazy busy since my move in the studio, we finally managed to get the whole family in for their session and I'm super happy to say that it turned out to be great.
Everyone is excited to have another little girl on the way... Especially Hannah who was kissing mommy's belly without even being asked to do so... :)

Carlos et Sandrine got a gift card for there newborn session from a close friend of mine. I felt a little pressure when I found out she put in such a good word for me. Nonetheless, the session went super well especially that 1 and a half month young Sasha slept for more than half the session. I can't wait to show both mom and dad all of the pictures!

I loved the black and white version of this last picture. I think the light pink is what made me stick to the color version!

After posting that I was looking for a newborn baby to photograph, I was impatiently waiting for little Fiya to come into this world when Sesch called me and said she was 41 weeks pregnant.

I am so happy I was able to be apart of this joyous moment in your lives. Thank you for letting me create this special memory for you.

A few months ago, Oriana decided to get a wonderful gift  for her step daughter; she had asked me to photograph her when she'd be approximately 7 months pregnant with her husband and daughter.
Let me tell you that a few weeks ago, when they finally all came to the studio, I had such a great time.

Soon to be an older sister, Anne Sophie really showed her excitement for for mommy's pregnancy!!
She was the happiest kid showing off her little dress, giggling and making silly jokes .
France you have a beautiful little girl and an amazingly supportive family.
I look forward to seeing everyone again soon in studio with Anne Sophie's new baby brother.

Jacob is such a big boy now!! I had met him a year ago and now I got the chance to photograph him once again, only this time with his gorgeous little brother. His hair grew long and now he was able to run around the studio, something he couldn't do the first time around. He stayed by his little brother's side (for the most part) holding him so tight and not letting go, I had never seen such a protective older brother :)
Nathalie you have the cutest little mommy's boys!! Enjoy them while you can still hold them in your arms...

I was so happy when Angie contacted me, not too long ago, to photograph the whole family, only a week before Kaila's baptism.
She was so adorable in her perfectly white dress. Her and her brothers were all smiles in front of the camera as they kept on making her laugh.
I must say Angie, you have been blessed with the most behaved boys I have yet to meet, and they were so amazing with their little sister Kaila. With 3 amazing older brothers, she definitely has nothing to worry about. :)

Wow.... I've been meaning to post this it's been a few weeks already and have been so busy with photo sessions and moving that I've fallen behind on my blog posts. :s

Finally though, here are a few pics and a little bit on how I came to be apart of this very special event.

Nath Lauzon, from Virgin Radio and The Montreal Dog Blog, was kind enough to think of me to photograph the fundraiser held at Moksha Yoga in NDG by Lori Kalef. Straight from Victoria BC and founder of Down for the Dogs Yoga, Lori was hosting "Saving Little Wet Noses by Striking Yoga Poses" to raise money for the Montreal SPCA Emergency shelter, which I thought was an amazing opportunity for me to combine two of my many passions; photography and volunteering to help animals that can't speak for themselves.

Everyone that was able to make it to the class (approximately 40 people), Lori, Nath and everyone from Moksha Yoga and the Montreal SPCA, you guys were all sooo great!! :)
It was an honor for me to work with all these amazing people, here to actually make a difference... so thank you!!

I was super excited to be able to meet Alex and Sabrina after a few months of planning for the session. These 2 were so amazing in the studio, they brought in excitement, joy and anticipation for what's to come; a beautiful little girl.

Due pretty soon, Sabrina managed to impress me with her extremely bendy self (for her 3rd trimester) with some yoga poses.... and of course we had to snap a few pictures. It worked so beautifully with the lighting, I had to include it in here  :)

I love to meet expecting parents, and love to capture a moment they will be able to treasure for a long time.
So thank you both for letting me be apart of this!

PS: They also brought they're super cute boston terrier; Jagger, which I must say was really well behaved :)

Beautiful light, beautiful family and most of all beautiful young lady! 

Katerina graduated from College Marie de France and I was honoured when her mom asked me to photograph her on this special day. 

Her parents and sister were there but what made it even more special was that her extended family and a few of her friends came to (pre) celebrate as well. So of course I used the opportunity to snap a few shots with them. 

I hope you enjoy your sneak peek Katerina, as this definitely gave me a little flashback of what preparing for my prom was like. I hope you had an incredible prom night and congratulations! I wish you the best of luck with College in September !!
