Remember the Montreal Dog Blog contest... Well Sira and her family won and I was super excited to meet them all for their studio session. There was Daddy, Ryu, their gorgeous little 8 month old boy and Bella the very well behaved Boston Terrier who still very much acts and looks like a puppy. Bella was super happy, especially when she would get treats to stay put for her portrait and Ryu was full of smiles. We even got to take the studio outside for a little bit since it was such a beautiful day.

Remember Momo, our foster dog from 2010.
I am proud to say we found him a home, after he stayed with us for about a month. It was hard to let him go, especially because he was soo cute! But ... good news ... he is in a good family now in Ontario with another Boston Terrier, a female, and they get along great! :)
We'll definitely be fostering other dogs in need this year through different rescues such as Paws for Life, the Montreal SPCA, Eleven Eleven Rescue and many more ... and of course I'll post pictures to up their chances of finding a forever home !!

I had a bit of time this holiday / new year, and decided to go through some older photographs I didn't have a chance to share on my blog.  Of course looking at these, all I could think of is what I could have done differently, or even better. This is what we do, us artists, we constantly get inspired with everything surrounding us, and re-think about past work and try and make it better. As the saying goes: "Practice makes better".
Chris trained for her competition, of course wanted memories of what she had achieved and contacted me for an outdoor photo session, before the big day. I loved working with her so much that I decided to tell her to come to the studio for Part 2. The in studio pics were taken after her competition, and a few slices of
pizza! (jk!!) I would love to work with you again, Chris. You are a great model but most of all an inspiration to everyone who can't get their butts to a gym!! :)

PS:  Chris won a few trophies and is still working hard for her next competitions.

Imagine being a pet lover and spending an entire day with dogs of different breeds.

Imagine loving the holiday season and sharing good laughs with Santa and his elf in your favorite pet store. 

Imagine being able to promote and raise money for a cause you truly believe in.

Okay, now imagine having all that under the same roof and being able to do what you love at the same time. 

Well... that's what I did last weekend! and I don't mean I imagined all of it. 

I created a photo- booth for dogs and their owners at Bark & Fitz, for a mini photo session with Santa, to raise money for the Montreal SPCA. 

I am now sharing these pictures to thank everyone that was able to make it to the event and donate. We raised $ 515 in just a few hours. So thank you!

Yael and Marc have such great friends! :) Sarah, their long-time friend got them a gift card for a photo session with the whole family and this little princess.
She was such a doll with those rose chubby cheeks and soft belly.

Yael, it was wonderful to be able to see you pregnant and finally capture pictures of your little one. I hope you enjoy these for a long time to come !! Thank you Sarah for giving them a gift that'll last a lifetime...

Sophie & Danny were the lucky couple that won the Facebook Contest back in September. I didn't even know Sophie was pregnant when I randomly chose the winner so it was a funny coincidence.
Considering she loves Boston Terriers, I think she was more excited about playing along with my 2 little babies than the actual photo shoot. Nonetheless, we still spent about 2 hours in studio and I was able to capture Sophie's natural beauty and the special glow she takes to pregnancy so beautifully.
I'm including the ones with Bugger and Jazz below, just because I know it'll make her happy to see it up on my blog. Congratulations again to both of you and I can't wait to meet this lucky baby girl/ boy.

Oh my!!!  Pink cheeks, big blue eyes and giant flowers, Juliana was the cutest little girl on her birthday. She was full of smiles (and very few tears) after making a little mess with the (not so yummy) cupcakes.
She looked so tiny on the studio's new wooden chair and made us laugh as she held on to the side bars.
I am lucky to say I photographed her on her special day!

I've been waiting for Ariel and Gracie to come to the studio since she was 4 months pregnant.
Just a few days ago, I had the chance to photograph her perfectly round belly (with no stretch marks, I must add) and beautiful curves. The session had gone by so fast, and after many laughs, we realized we had more than enough poses.
I'm so excited for her to give birth to a tiny baby boy and even more excited to photograph him really soon.
