I met this great couple for the first time when I photographed their maternity session and then was lucky enough to see them again with their little addition: Nathan.

Mom and Dad, especially, were so funny and so bluntly honest about parenthood that all I did during their session was laugh. 

Stella, I promise you baby Nathan does not think you are a "crazy" Mamma for not totally understanding what he wants. You guys are totally fit to be his parents and did I mention totally awesome. 

Thank goodness Nathan slept almost though the session through my little giggles and non stop laughter. I think he knew what was being said, especially when we got a little smile out of him too...

How time flies...
When Mom contacted me for the birth of their second daughter, it was a wonderful surprise!
I got to photograph B, their older daughter when she was in the belly and at a few days young about 2 years ago at the studio.

This time I got to see how beautiful she had grown to be and completely in love with her younger sister. The relationship between the two, although still new, completely reminded me of my best (and only) sis and I.

Look at the resemblance... You'd think they're twins!

Its already 11:30 pm and after  writing an entire blogpost, for some reason it didn't save! Ahhh :s
Okay so lets try this again....


Chloe came by the studio just recently and made me realize how much I love to photograph older babies. In case you didn't know I usually photograph newborns under 10 days but still her session was fuuunn! She had a few wardrobe changes and a few different props and still Chloe was full of smiles and laughter the entire time ... ok almost! But she did make me realize how much I absolutely love it.

Take a look at her ... I had a smile on my face the entire time I was editing her photo gallery, especially with those bunny ears. She is just so sweet!

I had so much fun with mom and dad during Baby E.'s shoot. We got to talk about how they met and where they met (and that wasn't in Montreal), which is always super fun and interesting to me. The bond and happiness between the 3 was like electricity! It was so beautiful. :)

Baby E. was a sweetheart. Somewhat of a light sleeper but after almost 4 hours in the heat of the studio, she let us try quite a few different poses. It especially helps when both parents are super relaxed and calm. And that's exactly how the entire session went, completely laid back! :)

"I don't look good today, so it'll just be pictures of the little one!" is probably one of the most common phrases I hear mom say when at the studio.

My advice is the following; chances are you won't do another photo session for a little while and so far you probably only have pictures on your phone and probably none are with you in them or maybe even with the entire family, mom dad and kids. Don't you want to look back in a few years when your little one is all grown up and be able to have at least a few professional pictures with them.

Mom gave in and look at the result. She is beautiful!! Plus now she gets to have this moment forever.

A few months ago, Dad got a gift certificate for a photo shoot in studio with me since baby C. is almost a year and still didn't have her portrait taken.
I had lots of fun with this little princess. Rosy cheeks and pink lips, I just wanted to grab a bite! (ok not to worry I didn't! But it was sooo tempting).
